Making perfume from flower petals

I’m dubious as to whether this will work! I found this web page (www.eaudrey.com/perfume.htm) which explains various methods of making perfume from flower petals. We opted for the “1900 Perfume” instructions at the bottom of the page which has the following initial steps:

Making a den in the back garden

This was a pretty quick and easy task. We set up a den in the corner of a back courtyard using some planks of wood, an old clothes rail and a large tarpaulin.
